Zooky's Sports Tavern

My wife and I came here for a late lunch today 11/13/2023 and was very pleased! I got the chicken salad which was awesome and my wife got the pot roast open faced sandwidch with gravy all over and it was great also! Very large well made servings and the service was great ! Atmosphere was nice and the place felt warm and cozy inside! I will be back for sure since it is one of the better places that I have eaten in (FOR A WHILE )! I can't wait to try your other entrees in the future! KUDOS TO A WELL RUN BUSINESS WITH GREAT FOOD!---LARS COX FROM HOPEWELL,PA!

Went yesterday evening with friends. Always something when we go. Got seated and got drinks. We ordered and 3 other party's come in after we ordered. The other 3 tables got there food before we did. We didn't say anything because we was having a good time talking. We finally got our food and one of us got the potato skins. Got only 5 potato skins and always got 6 and there was very little cheese and bacon on them and the potatoes was very small. We brought it to the attention of Tessa and she said "portions go down and prices go up like everything else." Then gave a dirty look and walked away. Table next to us said she had a bad attitude. When you answer other peoples post you always said "bring it to the attention of a staff member and you will take care of it." Well take care of the staff member Tessa for the attitude problem she had when we did say something. Do yourself a favor and sale it back to the old owners at a portion of what you bought it for so they can bring it back to the quality sports bar it used to be, or tear it down and make a parking lot and rent it out to the Grand Valley Inn so they got more parking for there customers and we can go there. PS. Was told to tell you the pickle slice was good. Can't screw that up. PORTIONS NOT THE SAME SIZE THAT DAY. WHY DIDN'T SHE TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM WHEN WE SAID THAT WE ONLY GOT 5 POTATO SKINS INSTEAD OF THE NORMAL 6 THEN AT THE SAME PRICE ?

Disappointed in food here last couple visits. Tonight’s order of wings were not crispy as ordered and the seasoning order was very, very lightly put on the wings. Had to add some seasonings at home. Boneless wings, 10 piece order, had some small pieces that were part of the 10 piece order I guess. Wings don’t seem as good as before since new ownership took over.

GREAT food as always. The Chicken Salad was the perfect lunch for a warm day on their large covered patio. My buddy had the Steak Wrap which he said was delicious.... it definitely looked tasty. Great Place for any occasion or just to fill your belly with some really good food. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly and attentive. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!!!!!
